The CMYCASH Open Verification Framework
A common trust framework for physical assets.
The CMYCASH Verification Framework defines a common architecture for how physical assets can be uniquely identified, securely verified, and seamlessly integrated into digital ecosystems.
Rather than creating another closed platform, CMYCASH establishes an open framework that enables interoperability between manufacturers, asset issuers, custody providers, marketplaces, financial platforms, and future digital infrastructures.
The Standard Defines
The CMYCASH Standard provides specifications for four essential layers of trusted physical assets.
Physical Identity
A secure physical-to-digital binding that connects each asset to a unique, tamper-aware identity.
Supported technologies include:
Tamper-evident designs
Secure Elements
NFC
Smart packaging
Secure carriers
Digital Identity
A persistent digital record that travels with the asset throughout its lifecycle.
The standard defines:
Lifecycle events
Unique Asset Identifiers (UID)
Asset metadata
Verification status
Verification history
Verification Protocol
A common method for verifying authenticity and integrity across different organizations and systems.
The protocol enables:
Secure verification workflows
Asset authentication
Status validation
Trust levels
Interoperability
Open APIs and integration models allowing assets to move across different digital environments without losing trust.
The framework supports integration with:
Digital Product Passports (DPP)
Enterprise systems
Wallets
Custody platforms
Marketplaces
RWA platforms
How the Standard Is Developed
The CMYCASH Framework is being developed through industrial collaboration, academic research, prototype validation, and ecosystem participation.
Participants contribute to the evolution of:
- technical specifications
- hardware requirements
- verification protocols
- interoperability models
- reference implementations
This collaborative governance model helps ensure that the standard remains open, interoperable, and aligned with real industry needs.
Our Vision
The CMYCASH Verification Standard is currently progressing Every major digital ecosystem is built on a shared standard.
Visa standardized digital payments.
Bluetooth standardized wireless connectivity.
GS1 standardized product identification.
CMYCASH aims to contribute to an open verification framework for physical assets by integrating existing standards and defining interoperability extensions where necessary.
