What is CMYCASH?

CMYCASH is an open verification framework for physical assets. It integrates existing standards, technologies and verification mechanisms while researching the additional interoperability extensions that may be required for trusted physical asset ecosystems.

What problem does CMYCASH solve?

Physical assets lack a universal trust layer. Verification is fragmented, manual, and difficult to integrate into digital systems.

CMYCASH provides a common verification framework that enables trusted interoperability for physical assets across organizations and digital ecosystems.

Does CMYCASH sell gold or other physical assets?

No.

CMYCASH is infrastructure—not a commodity dealer, marketplace, or custodian.

We provide the technology that enables trusted physical assets across multiple industries.

How does the technology work?

CMYCASH combines three infrastructure layers:

  • Secure physical identity
  • Cryptographic verification
  • Open APIs and SDKs

Together they create a persistent, verifiable digital identity that remains linked to the physical asset throughout its lifecycle.

What types of assets are supported?

The CMYCASH Framework is asset-agnostic.

Initial focus includes:

  • Precious metals

  • Collectibles
  • High-value industrial assets

The architecture is designed to support additional asset classes over time.

What is the current development stage?

CMYCASH is currently progressing through engineering validation, prototype development and pilot collaborations.

  • Expansion from TRL 4 to TRL 6

What is the patent status?

CMYCASH is protected by patent applications filed through PCT, EPO, and USPTO.

The portfolio covers the physical-to-digital binding architecture, verification methods, and supporting technologies.

Does CMYCASH replace existing standards?

No. CMYCASH is designed to build upon existing standards wherever possible. Current research evaluates where interoperability extensions or additional specifications may be required to support trusted verification of physical assets.

How can companies integrate with CMYCASH?

Enterprise partners can integrate using open protocols that build upon existing frameworks – including GS1, W3C Verifiable Credentials, ISO/IEC standards, and other industry-specific specifications.

Does CMYCASH require blockchain?

No. CMYCASH is technology-neutral. The framework is designed to integrate with different trust infrastructures where appropriate. Blockchain may be used in selected implementations but is not a prerequisite.

Why is CMYCASH conducting research if standards already exist?

Existing standards solve many important aspects of identity, data exchange and interoperability. The current research evaluates whether these standards are sufficient for independent verification of physical assets, or whether additional interoperability extensions are required.
